Offering guidance is crucial for a successful translation. After selecting languages on the order form, fill in the “Instructions for the Translator” section. Specify formatting preferences for numbers, indicate if certain words should remain untranslated (like a company name), and provide information on the desired tone (formal or friendly). Clear instructions empower the translator to understand your expectations and deliver the best possible translation.

b. Helpful Resources and References

For top-notch quality and accuracy, furnish your translator with context and relevant information. Include links to your website, screenshots of your app, and additional background details about your project. If you have specific requests, communicate them in the comments. For more complex instructions or specialized terminology, consider creating a comprehensive style guide or glossary for your project.

4. Help Your Translator Along the Way
a. Collaboration is Key

Achieving high-quality translation is a collaborative effort. Expect questions from your translator regarding certain parts of the text and address them promptly. All queries from translators will be visible on your dashboard and sent to your email. If you can’t be available to review comments and questions, indicate so in your instructions. Both your and your translator’s identities will remain anonymous.

Upon receiving your completed translation, you have 120 hours to review it. If you wish to make any changes, you can request revisions. Provide specific instructions to the translator regarding which parts need modification.
